Floor Lamp
"The sun is gone, but I have a light."

Lamp | Form Study
The design of the lamp was inspired by a quote (above) by Kurt Cobain. The design of the torchiere floor lamp was centered on my personal interpretation of the quote and the contextual expression of Kurt Cobain's life.
Project Goals
- To explore how form can communicate functional and expressive qualities as it relates to interaction.
- To appreciate the power of subtle design decisions in conveying meaning.
