Kerf Case
Kerf Case is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Through my experience at Kerf, I was involved with designing and developing products from sketches to final production. Creating CAD models and rapid prototyping were common activities in my daily routine. I also designed for efficient manufacturing processes, and designed and produced various product collections.
Project Brief: Objectives
Customers are arriving to stores armed with technology that have quickly outplayed that of stores. With online competition, brick and mortar retail has even higher expectations placed on them. Retailers are now forced to embrace technology as an opportunity to engage their customers.
American Eagle Outfitters has responded and equipped their stores with iPods, iPads and beacon technology to enhance the customer interaction. The use of these devices has ranged from improving operational efficiency to processing transactions through Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS). I was asked to design a unique in-store experience leveraging various products and services that AEO has to offer.
